Check-In Details for Montreal Participants

• Time: Check-in at 9:00 AM. Arrive 15 minutes early for check in (buses depart on time)

• Location: Gare d’autocars de Montréal, 1717 Rue Berri, Montréal, QC H2L 4E9

• Parking: Paid parking is available nearby at 1664 Rue St-Hubert ($18/day).

Glide into Winter Fun

Open to all ages (5+), this cross-country ski day is for everyone—from newbies to seasoned skiers! No experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm and enjoy a day in nature. Together we’ll be learning the basics of cross-country skiing. Step into a winter landscape, celebrate Black winter joy and vibe with us on this snowy adventure!

What do I wear?

Here are a few tips to help. Layer up. It helps with temperature change. Wear 3 layers.

• 3 layers: base layer (long sleeve dry fit or merino wool)  Mid layer (fleece or breathable sweater)  Outer layer (wind breaker, waterproof jacket) *Layer your clothing and dress in appropriate winter wear.

• Snow pants

• Long ski socks (merino wool is best)

• Waterproof/Warm gloves or mittens (pro tip: mittens are warmer) 

• Warm hat (that can fit under a helmet)

• Neck warmer or Balaclava 

What do I bring/pack?

• Extra pair of gloves

• Extra pair of socks

• Light backpack or hip pack

• Water and light healthy snack

• Lunch

• Hand warmers
