BLK WinterFest is Quebec’s largest Black-focused winter initiative, bringing Black and POC communities together to ski, snowboard, and celebrate winter in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Whether you’re a first-timer or experienced rider, enjoy beginner-friendly lessons, guided experiences, and opportunities to build confidence on the slopes. Come solo, with friends, or with family to connect, learn new skills, and celebrate winter through culture and community!

No! Transport is not included in general tickets with the exception of Chill Ticket. However, transportation options are available as an add-on when purchasing a ticket.

For community members travelling in from outside of Montréal, and for large groups, tailored transportation solutions are available. For all inquiries, please contact us directly at: info@routestorootz.com.

As most BWF events are single day events, please contact us directly for available lodging options and support at: info@routestorootz.com.

Yes. Feel free to bring your own gear or choose the ticket option that includes equipment rentals.

BLK WinterFest centres Black joy, but we also prioritize access to all BIPOC communities in and around Montreal. As we work to build a more inclusive winter culture for all, allies are welcome to respectfully participate.

There is no experience needed to attend any of our events. Each event offers access to dedicated and certified instructors. For participants who don’t require support, guided options are also available.

Whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned rider, our goal is to make sure you feel confident and safe to take on the slopes.

While most activities are family oriented and open to all ages, there are a few adult-only events.

Tickets are non-refundable, except in these cases:

• Event cancellation: If we cancel an event, you’ll receive a full refund.
