Every BLK WinterFest experience is curated for ease, comfort, and good vibes. Your ticket generally includes:
- Transportation to event location
- Meals and/or snacks (included with select activities—see event details)
- Lessons (based on ticket type)
- Access to official Routes to Rootz guides and instructors
- Full equipment rentals (based on ticket type)
- Event location access fees or Lift pass
- Custom BLK WinterFest tote bag
Inclusions vary by event, so check each event page for full details.
Yes! All events include round-trip transportation from Montréal, except our skating and ice climbing events which are metro- and bus-accessible. Participants are welcome to drive, but we encourage carpooling or our transportation to reduce our carbon footprint. Check the event details for location. For communities travelling from outside Montréal, we offer tailored transportation solutions — contact info@routestorootz.com.

Yes. Participants may bring their own gear or select ticket options that include rentals. Equipment details are on each event page.
BLK WinterFest centers Black joy and prioritizes access to all BIPOC communities. Allies are welcome, as we work to build a more inclusive winter culture for all.
Not at all. Every event offers certified instructors or guided options. First time on snow or seasoned rider, we've got you covered.
Most activities are open to all ages, with a few adult-only events. Age details are listed under each event description.
