BLK WINTERFEST 2026
BLK WinterFest confirms its success and returns for the 4th consecutive year.
Montréal, QC December 15, 2025 Curated by Routes to Rootz, BLK WinterFest will run from February 1st to 22nd 2026, with six immersive winter adventures designed to make the outdoors more inclusive, empowering, and unforgettable.
From the city to some of the province's favourite slopes – most notably Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort – the festival transforms February into an immersive movement set on redefining what winter looks and feels like for all communities across Québec.
“BLK WinterFest is about more than learning to ski or climb, it’s a movement,” says Jamillah Jean, Executive Director of Routes to Rootz, and Founder of BLK WinterFest. “When we see ourselves represented in winter spaces, we begin to rewrite the story of who the outdoors is for. BLK WinterFest is that invitation to take up space, experience joy, and move freely, together.”
ONE FESTIVAL. SIX WINTER ADVENTURES. CHOOSE YOURS.
From February 1st to 22nd, 2026, BWF offers six winter adventures suitable for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
Every ticket purchased includes transportation to the various slopes, access to certified instructors or guided sessions, and après or moments to celebrate culture, wellness, and joy together.
“From ski and snowboard weekends to tubing, ice climbing, skating, cross-country or snowshoeing experiences, these events are all designed for accessibility, safety, and collective fun in various places: Montréal, Mont Tremblant Ski Resort, Parc Jean Drapeau, Saint-Bruno de montarville, Mont-Calm and Les Sommets Mont Avila” comments Jamillah Jean.
